founder of creative writing site - Helen is one of the founders of a creative writing site, www.hagsharlotsheroines.com which celebrates and brings the lives of pioneering women through its focus on 'herstory'. www.hagsharlotsheroines.com was born and launched on International Women's Day, March 8 2004 after an 18 month gestation period. In her bio on the site, Helen says: 'It's been a long gestation and it's good to see her birth - seeing our baby grow, and toddle to independence - and seeing her impact in the world at large is going to be a lot of fun'.

Helen has authored a wide range of short books and pamphlets, as well as co- editing a number of Demos Collections, and contributing chapters to books and edited collections by known well known and influential academics like Anthony Giddens and other writers like Natasha Walter, columnist for The Independent.
